Eighties supermodel Christie Brinkley and Taste the Nation producer-host Padma Lakshmi snapped selfies together while clad in skintight dresses at People and E.L.F. Celebrate Women Changing the Game bash in Manhattan on Wednesday.

The Michigan-born 69-year-old and the Indian 53-year-old proved age is just a number as they seemingly stopped the clock with their suspiciously-unlined complexions and impressively taut 5ft9in figures.

Christie proudly posed with the woman of the hour - tennis champ Billie Jean King - while clad in a navy-blue, shoulder-baring ruched pencil dress and chrome pumps selected by stylist Jamie Frankel.

Brinkley - who boasts 875K Instagram followers - wrote via Instastory: '50 year ago today [Billie] Jean King played a game of tennis and won a whole lot more than just the match!'

Indeed, Wednesday marked five decades since the trailblazing 79-year-old dominated all three sets against tennis champ-turned-hustler Bobby Riggs at their Battle of the Sexes tournament in Texas and took home the $100K prize.

'The victory was about so much more than tennis,' Billie recalled on Instagram on Wednesday.

'It became one of the defining moments of the women's movement, one of the most impactful moments in sports, and one of the most important days of my life. We have come a long way since 1973, and I have enjoyed watching today's women athletes live out the dreams of my generation. But we are not done yet. The work continues today, and each one of us can help. Let's keep going for it.'

Padma - who called it 'the greatest moment in sports history' - posed beside King wearing a cap-sleeved LBD, cascading silver statement necklace, and black T-strap heels.

'What she has done - not only for sports and the LGBTQ community - but for women all over the world and equality in general is unparalleled,' Lakshmi - who boasts 1.4M Instagram followers - gushed on Wednesday.

'What an honor to spend the evening with her. She is so inspiring and encouraging. I first met Billie when we shared a stage together at Carnegie Hall with Gloria Steinem right before the pandemic. We spoke of gender bias in every sector. From medical research to wage disparity, to so much more. There have been many moments in these last months when I have felt demoralized and saddened.

'Billie is such a shining light, a beacon of hope who tonight reminded me that pressure is a privilege and champions adjust. Thank you every day Billie for your guidance and mentorship. A true goddess if there ever was one! Happy anniversary! And thx to @people and @elfcosmetics for a lovely event celebrating this GOAT!'

The Presidential Medal of Freedom winner - who boasts 1.8M Instagram followers - shared a snap of the live feed for the elaborate drone show projected over the Houston Astrodome, which was the site of the Battle of the Sexes.

Billie - who wore a pearl necklace with a purple jacket - also posed with Blue Bloods actress Bridget Moynahan looking casual cool in a black V-neck T-shirt tucked into wide-leg black trousers.
